| This knowledge base has been developed by the CSU Mechanical Review Board. Its purpose is to provide a summary of best design practices adopted by CSU related to mechanical systems design of CSU Major Capital Outlay projects. A&E firms are encouraged to periodically browse this knowledge base to confirm that their proposed design conforms to the suggested best practices compiled herein. A&E firms are also encouraged to contribute to the content of this knowledge base by sending an email to mrb@calstate.edu. All suggested contributions would be reviewed by the Mechanical Review Board for potential incorporation of the same into the knowledge base. Other ideas and suggestions to build this knowledge base as a useful reference tool for the CSU design community are welcome |
